Beginning his career in 2003 as an Architectural Technician, Dan then qualified in 2017 as a Chartered Architectural Technologist earning his MCIAT status. Dan spent most of his working career with Parsons + Whittley Architects Ltd, becoming a Director of the practice. When the practice wound up due to the retirement of the principal Directors, Dan decided to develop his own company, establishing Void Architecture with the aim of becoming one of Norfolk’s leading Architectural Practices.
Dan has built solid expertise within conceptual and detailed technical design, particularly within sustainable buildings, including certified Passivhaus construction in various forms and materials. Dan is also highly experienced within tendering and design team project management, including administration of a contract during the construction process.
John has over 40 years of architectural design experience, with expertise in the design of individual houses and social housing projects. He also enjoys the specific challenges of sympathetically extending and adapting historic buildings to life in the 21st Century, and converting unusual agricultural buildings to interesting new uses, all whilst encouraging the incorporation of fabric-first low energy measures wherever the opportunity arises.
Kégan graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science) from Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Kégan has a passion in design-based outcomes that incorporate intelligent design. He has a sound knowledge of building construction methodologies in Australia and is broadening his knowledge on an international scale. He has a keen interest in investigating and understanding materiality to best suit a project. Kégan’s high level of motivation, problem- solving and strong communication skills have allowed him to work in a number of international locations, now including Norfolk, UK!
Stuart is our newest member of the team. He graduated from Northumbria University with a BSc in Architectural Technology in 2014 whilst working in practice. Subsequently Stuart gained further professional knowledge and expertise in the construction industry whilst working for a range of reputable architectural practices across the UK. Respectively benefitting from experience on a diverse portfolio of projects, acquiring valuable knowledge in UK building regulations and architectural technologies. Complementary experience gained over eight years in the engineering sector. Stuart is often found exploring outdoor pursuits in his beloved VW campervan.
Mark is responsible for our financial department, supporting the delivery of our projects. Mark has 28 years of practical experience and is MAAT qualified. Mark enjoys the countryside and participating in various outdoor pursuits familiar across Norfolk.
