Managing Director, MCIAT

Dan Higginbotham, MCIAT

Beginning his career in 2003 as an Architectural Technician, Dan then qualified in 2017 as a Chartered Architectural Technologist earning his MCIAT status. Dan spent most of his working career with Parsons + Whittley Architects Ltd, becoming a Director of the practice. When the practice wound up due to the retirement of the principal Directors, Dan decided to develop his own company, establishing Void Architecture with the aim of becoming one of Norfolk’s leading Architectural Practices.

 

Dan has built solid expertise within conceptual and detailed technical design, particularly within sustainable buildings, including certified Passivhaus construction in various forms and materials. Dan is also highly experienced within tendering and design team project management, including administration of a contract during the construction process.

Johnathon Gower, ACIAT

Graduating in 2009 with a BA Hons degree in Architecture, Johnathon has worked locally in practices specialising in sustainable and residential design for both developers and homeowners looking for bespoke designs. As an Associate member of CIAT Johnathon is working towards full chartered membership with Void.

Vicky Corbett

Vicky began her career with the design of a Grand Designs house in the Lake District and moved into designing bespoke timeframe houses throughout the country. Having worked with Self Builders for many years, she especially enjoys working with residential clients on their new and existing homes. She has a passion for creating 3D graphics and visuals and became a RIBA chartered Architect at VOID.

Finance Manager

Mark Archer, MAAT

Mark is responsible for our financial department, supporting the delivery of our projects. Mark has 28 years of practical experience and is MAAT qualified. Mark enjoys the countryside and participating in various outdoor pursuits familiar across Norfolk.

and on budget. We make efficient use of our time so that projects
deliver a profit. We take care to keep note of our time spent on
projects to ensure any time shortfalls are highlighted and assessed in
a timely manner.

Responsibility We take personal responsibility for all our work, where
mistakes happen we quickly look to correct them and learn from
them, so not to repeat them. Where we face problems, we always
respond positively and look for solutions.

Fun We work hard but remember that work should also be enjoyable
and rewarding from a personal viewpoint. We occasionally
participate in shared activities outside of the routine office
environment to build and maintain a positive spirit and culture. We
remember to make the time to celebrate our successes.

Excellence We work to the highest industry quality and standards. We
are committed to providing quality services and documentation, to
provide a smooth, low stress project and build. We consistently strive
to get things right first time, meeting and exceeding client needs and
expectations, also optimising our efficiency. We follow systems and

and Void Architecture in both public and private. We acknowledge

any upsets or miscommunications and then look for a solution. We
continue to communicate clearly, positively and respectfully at all
times. We only discuss concerns in private with the person involved.
