We are looking for a Qualified Architectural Technician/ Technologist to join us on our journey. Qualifications and experience required

 

  • MA or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or similar qualifications
  • Experience or more of AutoCAD software, including Revit or similar, BIM modelling and Sketchup Pro
  • Industry experience

 

Key accountabilities of the role

 

  • Working alongside and taking instruction from the managing director
  • Supporting the creative design team
  • Supporting the construction team, including the contracts director and site managers
  • Producing full planning drawings and documents from the project Architects’ initial concepts
  • Producing full construction drawings and specification packages
  • Producing full tender packages
  • Co-ordinating specialists’ consultant’s packages
  • Carrying out survey work on-site and producing record drawing information
  • Creating as-built drawings for completed projects
  • Compiling risk assessments for pre-construction
  • Travelling to properties to carry out measured surveys and relevant checks
  • Communicating with statutory authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, site managers and fabricators

This is a permanent full-time role, with Monday to Friday working hours between 8:30am and 5pm.
